Banner graphics and placement are approved by Building Services - Custodial Services and Landscape Services. Customers may apply by submitting the form to Custodial Services. Banner requests are required at least three weeks prior to the desired installation date. Banners must meet the specifications outlined in the Street Light Pole Banner Guidelines.

University departments may request free preliminary cost assessment. This is a service provided by Infrastructure Planning and Facilities to aid MSU administrators in making strategic facility decisions. The assessment is a quick evaluation done without the benefit of drawings or detailed investigation. If the department chooses to proceed, a detailed estimate can be prepared after the completion of a design. To request a preliminary cost assessment, complete an online service request.

To report burned-out light bulbs, call 353-1760. Lights that are located in areas too high for the custodian's ladder or that have an electrical problem will be red-tagged by the custodial staff and reported to the Building Services - Maintenance Services lighting crew. In order to access classrooms without disrupting classes and allow for better and faster service, this crew works from 10 p.m. to 8:30 a.m., Monday through Thursday.

To arrange for moving and set-up services, complete an online service request. These services include office moves and set-up for special events, including provision of chairs and tables.
Outdoor events require approval by Building Services - Custodial Services. Contact Custodial Services at 355-8485 in order to use tents or light pole banners, or set up 5K runs, among other things. Forms are available on the Custodial website.
Report inoperable parking gates to the MSU Police Department at 355-8440. The police will contact Building Services - Maintenance Services to have them repaired.
