The MSU Way: Excellence in Campus Operations and Services Focus groups

As part of The MSU Way ECOS project, focus groups are being conducted with key campus customers. The focus group effort dovetails with The MSU Way ECOS as follows:

  • The focus groups are a component of the larger MSU Way ECOS effort that is being facilitated by the MSU School of Planning, Design and Construction (SPDC). An SPDC representative skilled in research and focus group facilitation, Tim Mrozowski, has helped co-develop questions and is tri-facilitating the focus groups with Chad Stirrett from Campus Planning and Administration and Karen Zelt from Infrastructure Planning and Facilities.
  • Focus group sessions will be conducted with our customers to help identify areas where we are excelling as well as potential areas of improvement.
  • At the conclusion of the focus groups (in 2011), a final report will be compiled and shared broadly. The goal is to use the empirical data from our customers to help inform operational improvements.
