

The Physical Plant Division provides and maintains the physical environment for education, research and public service at Michigan State University. Our responsibility is immense and varied: MSU includes 561 buildings, 2,023 acres of park, more than 100 miles of pathways, approximately 67 lane-miles of roadway and 25,000 parking spaces.

Physical Plant departments celebrated the spirit of the season with holiday parties. Here are photos from the Landscape Services, Transportation Services, and Division Support Services festivities.
MSU will install diesel oxidation catalysts on 14 University vehicles, thanks to a recent grant from the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency. The new devices will reduce carbon monoxide and hydrocarbon emissions by up to 50 percent.
